FARMACY'S HONEY POTION

I love the product I’m about to discuss so much I don’t even know where to begin. My friend Talia introduced me to one of the best face masks I’ve ever used. I don’t know about you guys, but I dislike having to mix my own face masks together as some brands require. Or even just having to add water can be a mess because then you have a bigger cleanup. Well, that is not the case with Farmacy’s renewing antioxidant hydration mask--Honey Potion

The Honey Potion comes in a beautiful glass container with a nice wooden lid and a cute little spatula. It really looks like honey (as you can see from the picture below). The texture is sticky but also smooth and is easy to wash off.

Ingredients are always important, especially because I have sensitive skin. The Honey Potion’s key ingredients are the main honey blend, propolis and royal jelly, essential B vitamins, and glycerin. These ingredients help nourish and renew your skin, while delivering beneficial antioxidants.

Before I tell you my routine, I want to warn you of a mistake Talia and I made. The directions say, “Use spatula to scoop mask and spread a generous layer onto clean face.” Don’t. Do not spread a generous layer or you will experience a very painful burning sensation, and your face will become bright red. I had this embarrassing experience, and it was no fun at all. I now apply less because I learned that very little can cover your entire face.

I use the Honey Potion usually once a week, maybe twice if I’m in the mood for an extra night, but Farmacy recommends 3 times a week. With a clean face, I put a small blob on each cheek and my forehead. I then massage the mask into my face for a couple of minutes until it has gone from its honey color to a cloudy white. Even though I apply a small portion of the mask--having learned from my first try--I still feel a little bit of heat on my face, but I promise it isn’t painful. It actually feels really nice and soothing.

Then, after 10-15 minutes I rinse my face with warm water. My face can look a little pink afterwards because of the heat, but that isn’t a bad thing. It just means the mask actually worked, and once the pink goes away, my skin is glowing and smooth.

The benefits I have experienced overall are more moisturized and smoother skin (mine is usually dry) and a glowing complexion. I definitely recommend the Honey Potion mask and am hoping to try more of Farmacy’s products in the future. Keep your eyes peeled because I’m sure I’ll be sharing more suggestions with you soon!
